India is a vast nation with over 1.2 billion people, a land of diversity with rich and poor, educated and uneducated, a land of v arie d cultures and religions. It is home to 2,145 people groups, 447 living languages, 5,000 towns and cities, and 600,000 villages. Yet, it i s als o a country whose people are waiting to hear the g ood news of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is especially true for the people of Northern India, where thirteen of these states have less than a 1% Christian presence. Of the world’s 6,38 9 unreached and unengaged people groups with over 100,000 people, 1,932 are in India.
We utilize the PLUG model of evangelism as a tool to fullfill the Great Commission. It encompasses four areas of focus.

This website is intended as a resource that will profile the various states and cities with the greatest need of the gospel, the languages in these states that have been adopted for scripture translation, and finally the numerous people groups that live in these states and speak these languages.
